Great views, great wine selection, and great food. I went here on a Wednesday night for a company dinner with clients. The service was excellent and we got to sample the risotto, prawns, octopus, meatballs, etc. I had the bone in filet. My only complaints are that it was a little loud and it took 2.5 hours for the main course to begin.

This is an interesting one. I've heard about Monarch for years and already been to Kessaku upstairs. It's nice and upscale but less formal than I was expecting. Obviously the view is crazy and you should try for a window reservation. The food was great and surprising as well. The bread comes with fine butter, cured meat and olives. Best table bread I've ever had. I could get two orders and make a lunch out of it. The oysters were petite but very tasty. The spicy rigatoni was good and my friend liked their helix pasta but I'm still thinking about those appetizers. The service and cleanliness was impeccable and I thought it was very reasonably priced.

Dined at The Monarch restaurant in Dallas, Texas, located in the Thompson Hotel, and it was an exceptional dinner. The restaurant itself is stunning. I started with the cheese plate, and the blue cheese was absolutely fantastic--rich and creamy. The oysters, as always, were fresh and delicious. For my entree, I chose the lobster salad, and it was the perfect size and absolutely amazing. Every bite favorable. I thought the lobster salad was very unique. I am consistently impressed by both The Monarch and Maple & Ash restaurants. They are not only beautiful but also deliver top-notch food that never disappoints. If you're in Dallas, The Monarch is a must-visit for great food.

If you have a special occasion to celebrate, Monarch is the place to go. Here's what you get when you arrive: 1. Complementary Champagne 2. A personalized menu with your name(s) on it as a keepsake 3. A small box of chocolates to take home The food is great and the view is spectacular. Just be aware that on weekends a window side seat will cost you extra. My suggestion, save the money and put it towards the food. Every table has a great view. If you're adventurous and love surprises, order the Royale. They will serve you selections from the menu. What they serve you will be a surprise. As you can tell, Monarch is on the pricy side. But worth every penny for a celebration or special occasion.

Located on the 49th floor of the National building, Monarch offers breathtaking city views and a fine dining experience that is unparalleled. The interior design is beautiful, creating an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere. The staff is always very pleasant, adding to the overall exceptional experience. I've visited Monarch many times for dinner, but this was my second time coming for Happy Hour. The Happy Hour menu selection is limited to three items, as shown in the attached photo. We tried two of the three items: the Seafood Tower and the charcuterie board, both of which were delicious. The Seafood Tower includes three jumbo prawns, three oysters, and a truffle king crab salad, accompanied by sauces and bread. The Salumi e Formaggio is a charcuterie board with cured meats, cheeses, nuts, grapes, and apricots. Upon arrival downstairs in the lobby, you are greeted with a glass of champagne to kickstart your experience. We also enjoyed the lemon drop cocktail from the Happy Hour menu. Our server, Courtney, was incredibly sweet, bringing dessert with a candle for my neighbor's birthday and making small talk with us. We also met the GM, Brian, who was very nice and checked in to ensure we were enjoying our time. Monarch observes a strict dress code, which I appreciate. One person was underdressed, and they provided a sport coat for him to wear. We visited on a Monday when it wasn't very crowded, but I presume things pick up Wednesday through Sunday. I've been on a Friday around the same time, and it's a very lively crowd. Valet parking is $10 plus tip. Upstairs, there's a Japanese restaurant called Kessaku, offering a panoramic view of the city. Monarch is the sister restaurant to Maple & Ash in Scottsdale and Chicago. Overall, Monarch continues to impress with its fantastic views, delectable food, and outstanding service. Highly recommended for both regular dinners and Happy Hour visits.

Had the absolute most romantic dinner ever! I visited here for my anniversary and they did not disappoint. We did make reservations for the window seat and there is a minimum fee per person, totally worth it. Everything was perfect. The food, the drinks, the service. We shared a bone-in ribeye with garlic whipped potatoes and cauliflower. With the rest of our minimum to spend, we ordered cocktails for the night. We found the 'secret' stairs and enjoyed the rest. Iykyk :) If you'd like, you can go to IG and check out my little video of my night at Monarch Dallas. @houstondoll_

Caesar Salad, Wood Oven Roasted Tiger Prawns, Wood Fired Meatballs, Whole Roasted Beef Tenderloin, Ora King Salmon, Momma's Spicy Rigatoni Alla Vodka, Asparagus, Whipped Potatoes, Vanilla Bean Cheesecake, Seasonal Tart Okay Monarch has got to be one of the most beautiful restaurants in Dallas. Set on a super high floor in the Thompson hotel, the interior is absolutely stunning and our private room had a phenomenal view of the skyline. Intimate yet spacious, it was perfect for our group of 15-20. The food was solid. The spicy rigatoni is definitely the absolute highlight, just as good as advertised. Great service! Definitely a pricey place, but worth it for the experience!

We visited this restaurant on a Saturday at 6pm. Traffic downtown wasn't bad. Valet was the easiest option when it came to parking. The views here are fantastic! I highly recommend getting a window table. Way better experience wise! The food was amazing. I loved the beef carpaccio and blackened octopus. The scallops were unbelievable and the truffle risotto is an absolute must. The mashed potatoes were ok. I'd be fine with never having those again. The asparagus was good but didn't blow me away. Overall I really loved everything about this restaurant. The attention to detail by the servers and manager just added to the experience. I highly recommend coming in here for dinner!
